Blue glitter nail polish!! I’m in love with glitter <3 After spending almost all my years vehemently swearing off sparkles, I have a confession to make: Glitter is growing on me! This newfound affinity is nails-specific, though; face glitter is still wholly unacceptable for adults outside of the gymnastics and figure-skating arenas, as far as I’m concerned. My change of heart started when I happened upon the a shimmery red manicure that garnered accolades from family members and strangers alike. Then came Deborah Lippmann’s limited-edition Happy Birthday polish, a clear lacquer with rainbow-colored sequins that can be worn over darker varnishes or directly on the nail bed. This week, it’s Zoya’s new Summer Sparkle Collection. What makes this six-piece color range so unique is that its particular brand of sparkle is much more uniform. Each brush stroke goes on with an almost iridescent metallic finish, so your nails shine with no semblance of gold or silver flecks. It’s a marvel of science, really. Ivanka, the mermaid green shade, is definitely the standout, which should make our long overdue transition from about seven months of allegiance to Chanel’s Jade that much easier.
